Batman and Catwoman
There’s a lot of Bat/Cat action throughout the tales, from pre-Cat-Tales encounters related in Batman’s Logs Harley deciding to break up Bruce and Selina by throwing Batman and Catwoman together in An Iceberg Tale to working off the post-museum tension in Deja vu All Over Again. But this image is so heated, with the way Catwoman has nudged up the mask, I like to think it is later in the relationship, perhaps one of those special nights at the cat lair when they played what might have been after those old team-ups, as after they caught the animal smuggler Malenkovik in Trophies, or even after the truth came out about Selina’s “history” with Bane in The Gotham Rogues.
