Nothing about Batman and Catwoman was \u201cnormal.\u201d\u00a0 They weren\u2019t normal as criminal and crimefighter, they weren\u2019t normal as lovers, and if there was a norm for criminals and crimefighters who then became lovers but sometime later resumed playful games harkening back to their adversarial relationship, they were about to shatter that one as well.<\/span><\/p>\n

That was Batman\u2019s thought as he clenched his gloved knuckles into a fist and rapped them in a sharp bell-ringing motion against the door of the new Cat Lair.\u00a0 After a minute passed with no answer, he shot a \u201cstay put\u201d warning towards the waiting car and moved to the window, repeating the procedure.\u00a0 This time, he was rewarded with a high-pitched metallic whine as a camera turned overhead.\u00a0 He looked up, glared into it, and waited.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

After another minute, Catwoman appeared on the other side of the window, pressing her body against the glass.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWell this is new,\u201d she mouthed distinctly, \u201cYou knocked.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

He shook his head and pointed towards the door.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNo games.\u00a0 Open up.\u00a0 Now,\u201d he mouthed back.<\/span><\/p>\n

She stuck out her tongue.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMake me,\u201d she teased.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cNo, I mean \u2018No games.\u2019\u00a0 Open up now.\u201d<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
