In the Morning Light<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Bruce asked Selina to move in at the end of Book 2, and she’s been living in Wayne Manor since Highland Games at the top of Book 3. So there is no shortage of bedroom scenes in the course of the tales. This passage seemed like a nice companion for In Morning Light by Remidar.<\/p>\n

\n

\u201cGood morning,\u201d Selina purred, pulling the bedsheets over her legs as she rolled over onto Bruce and pressed her naked chest into his.  <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not,\u201d he said in the same gravel he once used to dispute her claims about personal property, museum operating hours, and criminal trespass.  <\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not a good morning?  Damn, you\u2019re a hard man to please.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not morning<\/i>.\u201d<\/p>\n

He seldom slept this late.  They\u2019d already sent Alfred away twice but\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cYou\u2019re so literal,\u201d she said, nibbling.<\/p>\n

\u201cStop that.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u2026but he was a man.  He had limits\u2026  <\/p>\n

\u201cMake me.\u201d <\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s how this started,\u201d he murmured.<\/p>\n

\u2026and after a morning of marathon lovemaking since the moment he got back from patrol\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s not how it started; it\u2019s how the third one started. The first one\u2014oooh, I love this scar.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cKitten, please.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u2026he was exhausted.<\/p>\n

\u201cKitten you ask for, kitten you get\u2026 Mmmmmmeow.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHow did <\/i>it start, exactly?\u201d Bruce asked, sitting up abruptly, Batman\u2019s focus on the unanswered question finally asserting itself now that his body let him get a thought in.  \u201cAll I know is you pounced on me in the cave before I could even get to the logs.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019d waited long enough.  It was almost dawn by the time you got home.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the cave<\/i>.  We have rules about that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPfft.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGood<\/i> rules.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHard rules,\u201d she grinned. \u201cFirm, inflexible rule\u2014\u201d<\/p>\n

As always, she\u2019d pushed too far and found herself flipped over onto her back, arms hoisted into a borderline-painful danseuse pin.<\/p>\n

\u201cNon-negotiable rules,\u201d came the menacing gravel.  \u201cSo how about an answer, Catwoman?\u201d<\/p>\n

It was an anti-climactic story, considering.  <\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
