There are many episodes of Selina kicking butt, both as Catwoman and as Selina.\u00a0 In her origin story, Cattitude<\/a>, we learned met her first real sensei, and through him, we learn that the previous teacher, retired MI-6 agent Sean had taught her very badly. This is Chris Dee’s pointed commentary on the poor choices of DC Comics attempts at Selina’s backgrounds, even down to the martial arts. The idea that a boxer like Ted Grant would be able to give proper instruction to a woman of Selina’s built that would result in her unique fighting styles able to go toe to toe with the dark knight is typical of their getting Selina wrong in every way imaginable.<\/p>\n
