Cat-Tales has many stories referencing the surreal nature of Bruce’s experience becoming intimate with the woman who’d been Batman’s fantasy for so many years. The arrival of her shampoo in his shower, when the scent of Catwoman’s hair was something he’d noted early on (first referenced in book 2, all the way up through Pearl), the weight of her head cutting off circulation in her arm in a way his fantasy cat had not (Loose Ends), but most of all, her eyes, the eyes of that woman in the mask (from the earliest tales right up through the wedding.
